Somewhere along my life I was programmed to think I did not like cereal. Oatmeal was cheaper and more filling. Then I started watching Seinfeld, and they enjoyed their cereal, and they could afford it. Post Cereal supported our family for many years, and still is.
Apparently there is something to be said for eating cereal out of a BIG bowl. I missed this because I was programmed to think I didn't like cereal, so this phenomenon was new to me. Somehow Connie got to this age and I didn't know she liked cereal in a big bowl, too, and that bothers me. But she has not grasped the TRUE concept of a BIG bowl yet. Tammy has perfected this eating cereal out of a BIG bowl because she uses a serving bowl, and enjoys every mouthful.
I am pretty sure it doesn't matter what you put in the bowl. FYI, I will be having Lucky Charms because they are Mystical and Magical. I think it is how you take it out of the bowl that counts, and maybe who you eat it with.
This morning I tried out this theory and it was a good thing. It was whimsical and magical: my Lucky Charms and banana and whole milk. I don't even like milk, but if I am going to eat cereal, I have have to have whole milk. Maybe that is why I have never experienced this before because I never bought whole milk...another thing the doctors say is bad for you. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM! They will take away all the good things in life such as biscuit gravy and pie. When we go home we will be eating a BIG bowl of cereal with Tammy, because she has perfected this art and enjoys every minute of it.
